Dakota has been in heat since today, we got in touch with the dog owner and planned a first cover trial in about two weeks, depending on how progesterone levels are.

5.6.

Today we were with Dakota at the vet and get a blood count and to see where currently the progesterone value.

5.8.

In the evening we finally got blood tests and progesterone. The geriatric profile is ok, nothing is in the way of an assignment. The progesterone is at 0.5 ng / ml. So we still have enough time.

10.05.

Since we unfortunately always have to wait one to two days for the result of progesterone in Germany, this morning we decided to make our way to the neighboring country Czech Republic. There you will receive the value within 3 hours by email which of course is perfect.

At noon we received the value of 0.54 ng / ml.

Hm .... today we have day 12 of heat. The vet advises us on Tuesday (day 16 of the heat) to test again. It's too hot for me and I make a meeting with our dad for Sunday,

even if nothing happened, both could sniff each other.

12.05. Day 14 of heat / 1st day of pregnancy

In the morning we make our way to Carmen and her dog "Goffri". The dogs were allowed to sniff and play together. Just when we wanted to make ourselves comfortable on the chairs, was a super harmonious and stress-free cover act. PERFECT!!! you can not wish it better.

After a chat, we returned home two hours later.

To be on the safe side, that we were not too early at the Chosen, we went again to the progesterone test. This time it was very fast, after 1.5 hours the email came with the value of 5.18 ng / ml.

So we were well in the timing. I got in touch with Carmen again and we agreed to another deck attempt on Tuesday.

14.05. Day 16 of heat / 3rd day of pregnancy

After all were taken care of at home, we drove back to Carmen. Once there, we let the dogs together in the garden and it did not take 15 minutes until the two wedding celebrated ....

Everything was totally chillig and stress free.

Now we look forward to hopefully small crush balls in mid-July then see the light of day :-)

24.05. Day 14 of the (hopeful) gestation

Dakota is in chill mode, resting a lot and allowing the others to chase birds. We have a US date for the 07.06. agreed.
